For our container candles: We use GoldenWax® 464 (European Edition), chosen because it burns incredibly clean and offers a superior fragrance throw.
For our pillar candles: We use KERAGREEN® SOY PILLAR, which provides excellent structural strength while maintaining a beautifully smooth, creamy finish.
Both waxes are entirely vegan and free from synthetic additives, ensuring a clean and high-quality burn for every style of candle we make.
This is a classic hallmark of pure, natural soy wax! While premium European soy waxes like GoldenWax 464 and KERAGREEN® Soy Pillar are formulated to cool much smoother than traditional soy waxes, slight texture changes after a burn are completely normal. It is simply a reminder that your candle is entirely plant-based and free from smooth-looking synthetic paraffin or chemical additives!
Wooden Wick Care
Yes! We use natural, sustainably sourced wooden wicks that produce a soft, relaxing crackling sound, resembling a mini fireplace. The crackle is caused by trace amounts of moisture trapped in the wood cells vaporizing as the wax heats up.
Tilt the candle slightly and hold your lighter flame across the entire width of the wood for 10–15 seconds. This ensures the flame catches evenly and draws enough wax to stay lit. Let it burn until the melted wax pool reaches all edges of the jar to prevent tunneling.
Once the candle is completely cool, use a wick trimmer to cut the wood down to about 0.3 cm to 0.5 cm before relighting. If you do not have a wick trimmer, you can use a tissue to gently pinch and break off the black, burnt top of the wood.
Our wooden wicks are made from 100% natural, untreated wood. They are completely free from chemical burning agents, allowing you to enjoy a clean, natural crackle every time you light your candle.
General Candle Care & Safety
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the jar from overheating and ensures your wick stays stable and safe.
Blow out the candle immediately, let it cool completely, and trim the wick down to 0.3 cm to 0.5 cm. High flames or smoke usually mean the wick is too long or the candle is near a draft from windows, doors, or fans.
Stop burning your candle when only about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. Burning a candle all the way to the very bottom can cause the jar to crack or overheat.
Yes, we highly recommend it! If your candle has a decorative shape (like our cactus candle) that extends above the rim, the wax can overflow or drip down the sides of the jar during the first few burns. Always place these candles on a flat, heat-resistant coaster or tray to protect your furniture.

Right now, we deliver everywhere across Malta. We are working hard behind the scenes to open up standard shipping to other European countries very soon! In the meantime, if you live anywhere else in Europe, please send us a message through our contact channels and we will do our best to arrange a custom delivery for you.
Delivery is completely free for all orders of €30 or more. For orders under €30, we charge a standard flat delivery fee of €5.
Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, please allow 2–3 business days for us to prepare your order. Once dispatched, local delivery across Malta typically takes an additional 1–2 business days.
While we pack our jars very securely, accidents can happen during transit. If your candle arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the item within 48 hours of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement for you immediately.
